Create a Custom Windows 7 Installation USB stick

Using the Windows install DVD is fine, but creating a customized installer on a USB stick is usually better. You can customize the USB stick install to include the latest service packs, exclude unnecessary elements, or even pick the default themes / fonts / wallpapers etc.

The most obvious benefit to creating a custom Windows Installation USB stick is convenience. A USB stick is most often than not, faster than DVD drive, so you'll see quicker installs with it. And when you also remove  the unwanted Windows apps from the install, and change the defaults to your liking, doing installs or re-installs can be less of a pain.
